Today we are pleased to announce the first public beta of our WP All Import Pro add-on for Easy Property Listings. WP All Import Pro is a fantastic plugin that allows importing XML and CSV files into your WordPress website.
This add-on for WP All Import Pro has all the Easy Property Listings custom fields pre-configured.
Our goal with this add-on is not to just be able to import listings into Easy Property Listings but to improve import speed especially with images.
However to take advantage of these speed improvements we have had to make changes to the record.php file included in WP All Import Pro. We will be submitting a request to Soflyy the creators of WP All Import to add the additional hooks to their fantastic plugin.
How to modify WP All Import Pro with the new changes:
What you will need:
- WP All Import Pro version 4.2.3
- Easy Property Listings
- Easy Property Listings XML CSV Import Add On (Download from GitHub)
Replace record.php
FTP to your plugins/wp-all-import-pro/models/import/ folder and replace record.php with the one from the add-on located in: plugins/epl-wp-all-import/includes/
WP All Import – Import Template
We have included the import template for REAXML inside the plugin. This is located in epl-wp-all-import/templates/ Once you have installed and activated the add-on visit Dashboard > All Import > Settings and import the template.
Create your first import job
Now when you create a new import as previously shown here except this time we have a whole section dedicated to the custom fields for Easy Property Listings.
Creating your import for REAXML is easy as all you need to do is load the template from the bottom of the import page. Once you load the import template all the fields will be configured for REAXML. We will be adding more templates for other popular formats like Jupix UK.
